Hungarology

The study program is accredited in the field of study 2.1.29 Non-Slavic Languages and Literature. The focus of the study program is on the questions of the place of the Hungarian language and literature in (Central) Europe and within the Finno-Ugric languages and cultures. The aim of the programme is to prepare professionals having the knowledge of the Hungarian language and culture, the structure of Hungarian society, the economic situation and international contacts of Hungary with special regard to contacts within the European Union and Central Europe. Attention is paid to the main problems related to minority issues. Listeners during their studies have the opportunity to acquire the Finnish language too.
