REGION ART 2024
A vernissage was held on the 7th of March 2024 at the Regional Awareness Centre in Nitra.
It showcased the works of the regional round of the 61st national competition and exhibition of non-professional art creation Výtvarné spektrum. The chairman of the jury was the academic painter, Karol Felix. The competition was divided into several categories according to age and individual materials.
At the exhibition we saw a variety of artistic statements. We are pleased that in the category of painting in the age group of artists from 15 to 25 years old, our student Dóra Matuš won an honourable mention with her painting, The old student.
Personally, I am happy about every success of every artist who is engaged in art creation. For years I have been cooperating with the Regional Awareness Centre in Nitra as a lecturer. I consult art works, advise and help amateur artists, educate them in theoretical and practical field. And I experience every success and minor failure together with them.
