Jubilee Christmas Concert at the Faculty of Central European Studies
This year, the radiance of the festive season received a special burst of brilliance at the Jubilee Christmas Concert that was held on December 13, 2023 in the Concert Hall of the Nitra County Hall. The event not only brought the holiday spirit closer but also commemorated the 20th anniversary of establishment of the Faculty of Central European Studies of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.
The impressive concert hall served as a fitting backdrop for the festive concert presented by the Hungarian Choir of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. The concert started with ceremonial speeches of the dean of the faculty, Dr. habil. PaedDr. Žofia Bárcziová, PhD. and the rector of the university, prof. RNDr. Libor Vozár, CSc. Afterwards the choir took the stage or – better said – the melody. Tha hall has been filled by the enchanting sounds of Christmas classics transforming it into a magical festive world. The event was finished by singing of the audience and the choir together. It was undoubtedly the highlight of the evening.
The Jubilee Christmas Concert was not only a musical celebration but also a community building event that provided the celebration of the 20th anniversary of existence of the Faculty of Central European Studies of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra in a worthy manner.
