5th International Tourism Marketing Conference
The 5th International Tourism Marketing Conference, "A new era in tourism – Smart destinations and smart behaviour in times of crises" was held on April 28th, 2023.
The event was hosted for the fifth time by the Faculty of Economics at the University of Pécs.
Three lecturers from the Department of Tourism at the Faculty of Central European Studies at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra participated in the international conference: Prof. János Csapó, who was also the main organizer of the conference, Dr. Norbert Beták, who headed the section titled "Key Drivers of Competitiveness in the Tourism Industry II", and Dr. Viktória Gergelyová, who presented the latest research results from the Department of Tourism.
The International Tourism Marketing Conference provided a great opportunity for professionals to share their experiences and gain new knowledge on current trends and challenges in tourism. The presentations were of high quality and included many interesting and inspiring ideas on the future of tourism. The conference also provided an excellent forum for networking, resulting in new contacts for participants.
