Our Faculty Received Prestigious Recognition
In a ceremonial setting, the professional awards of the Association of Hungarian Pedagogues in Slovakia (SZMPSZ) were presented on May 16, 2026, in Rožňava, as part of its 31st National Meeting. The event, one of the most prominent professional forums of the Hungarian pedagogical community in Slovakia, provides an opportunity each year to honor institutions and individuals who demonstrate outstanding achievements in education.
It is a great honor for us that the Faculty of Central European Studies at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra has been recognized for its dedicated and consistent efforts in supporting and developing Hungarian-language education.
The awards of SZMPSZ are among the most prestigious distinctions within the Hungarian academic and pedagogical community in Slovakia. They acknowledge excellence in teaching, innovative professional initiatives, and a strong commitment to community building.
This recognition reaffirms our faculty’s mission and responsibility to continue playing an active role in ensuring high-quality teacher education, as well as in preserving and advancing the intellectual and cultural values of Hungarian education in Slovakia.
