Teacher Training of Hungarian Language and Literature combined

The study programme introduces students to the peculiarities of the Hungarian language and language use, to the history of the Hungarian language, to the diversity of the Hungarian language as a mother tongue, and to the consequences of language contact. Students acquire knowledge of literary theory, Hungarian and world literature, and the methods of literary criticism and analysis. In the pedagogy courses, they acquire the skills and competencies that enable them to apply their knowledge in the teaching process of language and literature in the classroom. Our graduates will also be able to use their skills in cultural and artistic activities outside the teaching profession.
